Who is Joe Jardine?
Most people don’t come looking for coaching because something is “wrong.”
They come because they feel pressure, uncertainty, or a quiet sense that they’re capable of more—but aren’t sure how to access it consistently.
If that’s you, I want to introduce myself.
My name is Joe Jardine, and the work I do today was shaped by years of pressure, performance, and learning what actually helps people grow—especially high performers.
The World I Grew Up In
I grew up in Orange County, California, in a culture where achievement was celebrated and expectations were high—academically, athletically, and socially. I became a college athlete and experienced firsthand how performance, identity, and confidence can collide.
On the outside, things often looked solid. On the inside, I saw how pressure, self-doubt, and anxiety could quietly undermine performance. I learned early that talent alone isn’t enough. Without the right mindset and emotional tools, even the most capable people struggle to show up at their best.
That realization stayed with me.
Why I Chose This Work
I didn’t pursue psychology or coaching because it sounded interesting. I pursued it because I wanted to understand why people break down under pressure—and more importantly, how they can learn to perform with clarity and confidence instead.
Over the last 20+ years, I’ve worked as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, performance mindset coach, psychology professor, and youth and athlete coach. I’ve had the privilege of working with NFL and NCAA athletes, professional CrossFit competitors, actors, executives, entrepreneurs, teens, and families.
Across all of those settings, the same pattern shows up again and again:
High performers don’t struggle because they lack discipline or drive.
They struggle because no one teaches them how to manage pressure, mindset, identity, and emotions at the level their lives demand.
That’s the gap I help fill.
How I Work Today
Today, my work focuses on executive performance coaching, athlete mindset training, leadership workshops, and intensives for people who want to grow in a way that’s both high-performing and sustainable.
I don’t believe in hype, quick fixes, or one-size-fits-all programs. I believe in meeting people where they are, understanding what’s happening beneath the surface, and building tools they can actually use—especially when anxiety, expectations, or pressure show up.
My approach blends:
performance psychology
mindset training
emotional regulation
identity and confidence work
practical, real-world application
This isn’t therapy.
It’s not motivation.
It’s structured, intentional growth.
Who I Work With
I work best with people who:
carry a lot of responsibility
feel pressure to perform consistently
care deeply about doing things well
want clarity, confidence, and alignment—not just success
That includes executives, athletes, creatives, and high achievers who are ready to invest in themselves and do the work honestly.
A Little About Me, Personally
Outside of coaching, I’m a husband and a dad to three incredible kids. Family life keeps me grounded, humble, and present. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me coaching my kids’ teams, fly fishing, or playing pickleball.
I value integrity, authentic connection, and intentional growth—both personally and professionally. Those values guide everything I do.
Why I’m Sharing This
If you’ve found your way here, there’s probably a reason. Maybe you’re navigating pressure. Maybe you’re feeling stuck. Maybe you’re performing well—but know there’s another level available to you.
You don’t need to become someone else.
You don’t need more motivation.
You need clarity, tools, and support that fits your life.
If that resonates, I’d love to connect.
